Catalogue Raisonné
A Catalogue Raisonné is a comprehensive collection that documents all known works by an artist, and serves as an official record of their creations. It provides detailed information about each piece, such as its history, where it’s been shown, and its significance. A catalogue raisonné tends to be an ongoing project that continues to grow as new pieces are discovered and added over time.
As part of honoring Toller Cranston’s legacy, Toller International is currently putting together the Toller Cranston Catalogue Raisonné: Preserving the Legacy – Toller Cranston (1949-2015). This online catalogue will offer an up-to-date list of all known works by Toller and provides collectors a chance to officially document and share their pieces with a wider audience. It also serves as a valuable resource for art lovers, collectors, and anyone interested in Toller’s unique creative vision and contributions to the art world.
Collectors and owners of Toller Cranston’s original paintings, drawings, prints and hand-painted collectibles, and other original Toller Objets d’art are invited to submit their pieces for inclusion in the Catalogue Raisonné. Each submission will be carefully reviewed, given a unique catalogue number, and a certificate of inclusion thus ensuring it becomes part of Toller’s lasting artistic legacy.
