Phillippa Cranston Baran, BA, MA – Founder & Director

Phillippa is the author of Toller Cranston, Artistic Impressions (2026) and Toller Cranston Ice Paint, Passion, (2024) the multiple award-winning biography about her late brother, Toller Cranston, two-time Olympian and distinguished international artist. She is a former university film professor (BA, Queens University; MA Film, UCLA), award-winning writer/producer, and for several years back in the day, a dairy goat farmer. She established TollerInternational.com and remains dedicated to building and consolidating her brother’s legacy in Canada and around the world. She is a competitive Duplicate Bridge player and holds the rank of Ruby Life Master. She lives in the historic family cottage on the Ottawa River near Arnprior, Canada.

Donna Child – Director of Art & Legacy

Donna Child, owner and gallery director of Donna Child Fine Art Gallery, has been a leading figure in Toronto’s art scene for over 30 years, specializing in fine art curation, collection management, and exhibitions. Her 25-year professional relationship with Toller Cranston profoundly shaped her curatorial approach and continues to inspire her commitment to bold artistic expression. As the exclusive bricks-and-mortar representative for Toller’s art, she has curated landmark exhibitions, including retrospectives at the Museum of Northern History and the Art Gallery of Ontario, and has played a pivotal role in preserving and promoting his legacy through Toller International. Through exhibitions, global sales, and educational initiatives, Donna ensures Toller Cranston’s artistic brilliance continues to inspire new generations.

Rebecca Ramshaw, BFA – Art & Creative Specialist

Rebecca Ramshaw is a seasoned art and design professional with more than twenty years’ experience in fine art and interior design. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University. Since 2011, she has been an integral part of Donna Child’s Gallery Team, serving as Assistant Gallery Director since 2015. Rebecca specializes in curatorial projects, exhibition planning, and conservation-standard custom framing. She has played a key role in preserving and promoting Toller Cranston’s artistic legacy, drawing on a lifelong admiration for his work. As a member of the Toller International team, Rebecca remains dedicated to celebrating his enduring impact on art and culture.

Geoffrey Fulton – Community Outreach and Sponsor Liason

Geoffrey Fulton, B. Com, ABR, ASP, CGMP is a successful realtor, and a former nationally ranked ice dancer who has been collecting Toller’s work for over three decades. He performed with Toller in the late seventies in The Vicki Show at Maple Leaf Gardens—a fund raiser for visually impaired skaters. Geoffrey has fond memories of the garden scene where he skated the critical role of the back half of a two-man, twelve-foot worm. These days he’s a regular on stage as a supernumerary with The National Ballet of Canada and American Ballet Theatre.

Sara Souza Truffi – Gallery Assistant

Sara is a problem-solving diva, software professional, skilled event organizer, and gallery assistant. She is a scholarship student in the Bachelor of Global Business and Digital Arts program at the University of Waterloo.

Sophia Andrade-Gomes – Social Media Content Creator

Sofia is the tireless social media content creator for Toller International, gallery assistant, talented artist, and student of fine art at Cooper Union in NYC (2029). Honour Roll, Etobicoke School of the Arts, (2025).

ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Haig Oundjian

Haig Oundjian is a financier, a two-time Olympian, European medallist, Free Skate champion, three-time British national champion, and Guinness World Records holder. He served as the President and Chairman of the U.K. National Ice Skating Association. He was also majority owner of Watford F.C. with Sir Elton John during a meteoric period of success. He is the founding sponsor of The Harefield Academy High School and was a delegate of the successful London 2012 bid team. He is currently chairman and owner of FCB Bruno’s Magpies. He co-founded the COF Toller Awards with Toller. Most significantly, he is the only person on the planet with whom Toller never had a falling-out. They were admirers of, respectful of, supportive of, and devoted to each other for more than five decades.

John Rait

John Rait became the World Professional Ice Dance champion with partner Shelley MacLeod in 1980. His professional skating career also included a stint with Stars on Ice. He was a casting director, talent agent, photographer and art gallery owner. A passionate, generous, and articulate man he is devoted to exploring art in its many forms.

Pj Kwong

Pj Kwong is an author who has been hip deep in figure skating her whole life first as a skater, then as a coach for over 25 years, a commentator, blogger, and social media voice for CBC Sports and other international networks since 2001. She is a PA announcer at international events including 10 Olympic Games, a FIFA World Cup, Pan Am and European Games.

Sam Corea

Sam is a corporate communications and media relations professional, former radio and television news broadcaster and a multi-sports games/events and publications specialist. He received the International Sports Press Association Fair Play Award for his press client services work with the Toronto 2015 Pan American and Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. From the Olympic Games to the Canada Games, Sam has been a part of 11 multi-sport events and has held management roles in press operations, editorial services, communications and media relations. Sam was the editor for the award-winning biography, Toller Cranston, Ice, Paint, Passion. He is a curler, a curling coach, and a lawn bowler.
